Receiving Special Issuance
(The FAA gives you some work to do)
The FAA will send you the following important documents:
- A letter of authorization
(“...you are not qualified … but ...”)
- A Specification Sheet
- (usually) an AASI form
AME-Assisted Special Issuance
These documents are your key to continued certification!
Treat them like a precious possession!
