The AASI process

• The Authorization Letter says whether this will be used, and the duration.

• The Current Status Report is taken to the AME not mailed / faxed / expressed to the FAA.

• The AME may issue if

• The CSR contains the required data
• You are otherwise fit to fly

• The AME sends the CSR and documentation to the Regional Flight Surgeon and issues.

• You may not need a flight physical!
