• Proceed to a flight physical only if you will succeed

• Help your doc collect the data

• Use the Regional Flight Surgeon if possible

• Bird-dog the process

• If the FAA specialist seems unreasonable, ask for a personal conversation between your doc and the FAA doc handling your case, so the concerns are understood technically. (Doc-to-doc works so much better!)
